Description

Juicy and flavorful baked pork chops seasoned and oven-roasted to perfection for a simple and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil.
  4. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme.
  5. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly onto both sides of the pork chops.
  6. Place the pork chops in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
  • Bone-in pork chops tend to stay juicier than boneless.
  • For a golden finish, broil the chops for the last 2 minutes of baking.
