Description

A savory and satisfying Beef and Pepper Rice Bowl made with tender beef, colorful bell peppers, and seasoned rice for a quick and hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  5. Add bell peppers and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until just tender.
  6. Season with black pepper and adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Serve over bowls of cooked white rice.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

  • Use brown rice for a healthier alternative.
  • Can substitute beef with chicken or tofu.
