Description

A decadent dessert that combines two favorites: classic apple pie and rich cheesecake, layered to create the ultimate indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 1/2 cups apple pie filling (homemade or canned)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix apple pie filling with cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
  6. Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust, spread half of the apple pie mixture on top. Repeat with remaining cheesecake batter and apple pie filling.
  7. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, and cold butter. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over the top of the cheesecake.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off oven and leave cheesecake inside for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Serve chilled and enjoy!
