A decadent dessert that combines two favorites: classic apple pie and rich cheesecake, layered to create the ultimate indulgent treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 1/2 cups apple pie filling (homemade or canned)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- In a separate bowl, mix apple pie filling with cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
- Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust, spread half of the apple pie mixture on top. Repeat with remaining cheesecake batter and apple pie filling.
- In another bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, and cold butter. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over the top of the cheesecake.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off oven and leave cheesecake inside for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Use homemade or high-quality canned apple pie filling for best flavor.
- Let the cheesecake set overnight for cleaner slices.
- Top with whipped cream or caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
