Description
A delicious Taco Bell copycat grilled cheese burrito packed with seasoned beef, rice, cheese, and creamy sauces, all wrapped in a warm tortilla and grilled to perfection.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup tortilla strips (optional)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them more pliable.
- Spread nacho cheese sauce in the center of each tortilla.
- Add a layer of rice, seasoned beef, sour cream, chipotle sauce, tortilla strips (if using), and shredded cheese.
- Fold the tortillas into burritos by folding in the sides and rolling tightly.
- Heat butter in a clean skillet over medium heat.
- Place the burritos seam-side down in the skillet and grill until golden brown and the cheese on the outside is melted and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and serve hot with extra sauce if desired.
Notes
- Use a mix of cheddar and mozzarella for the best melt and flavor.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra heat.
- Use a panini press for even grilling if available.
