Description

These Best Keto Bagels are chewy, satisfying, and low in carbs, perfect for anyone following a ketogenic or low-carb diet. Made with a combination of almond flour and mozzarella cheese, they mimic the texture and flavor of traditional bagels without the carbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for topping)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 1-2 minutes until melted and smooth. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add almond flour, baking powder, salt, and one egg to the cheese mixture. Mix until a dough forms. You may need to knead it with your hands for even consistency.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and shape into bagels by rolling into logs and connecting the ends.
  5. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Beat the remaining egg and brush the tops of the bagels.
