Description

Mini versions of the classic Big Mac, these sliders are packed with layers of seasoned beef, cheese, pickles, and a homemade special sauce, perfect for parties or a fun dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Big Mac sauce (or special sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season ground beef with salt and pepper and cook in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Slice the slider buns horizontally to separate tops and bottoms. Place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread the cooked beef evenly over the bottom buns.
  5. Sprinkle diced onions and shredded lettuce over the beef.
  6. Layer with pickle slices and American cheese.
  7. Drizzle with Big Mac sauce.
  8. Top with the remaining bun halves.
  9. Brush melted butter on the tops and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and buns are golden brown.
  11. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use Hawaiian rolls for a sweeter bun flavor.
  • Make the special sauce at home with mayo, ketchup, relish, mustard, and vinegar.
  • Sliders can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
