Description

A delicious fusion of a classic cheeseburger and a quesadilla, this Cheeseburger Quesadilla is packed with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and all your favorite burger fixings folded into a crispy tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  4. Place a tortilla on the skillet, sprinkle half with cheese, then add a portion of the beef mixture, onions, and pickles. Top with more cheese and fold the tortilla in half.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve warm.
