Description

A creamy and cheesy beef and bowtie pasta dish that’s both comforting and satisfying. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a family meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onion is softened.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the cheesy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Feel free to add vegetables such as spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrients.
  • If you prefer a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to taste.
