Description

Cherries in the Snow is a classic no-bake dessert featuring layers of creamy filling, angel food cake, and sweet cherry pie filling, perfect for holidays or any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (12 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add sugar and continue beating until well combined.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping gently until evenly mixed.
  4. Layer half of the cubed angel food cake in a 9×13-inch dish.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cake cubes.
  6. Spoon half of the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, cream cheese mixture, and cherry pie filling.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
