Description

A refreshing and vibrant cocktail, Cherry Margaritas blend the tartness of cherries with the zing of lime and the smoothness of tequila, perfect for summer gatherings or festive occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons simple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Salt or sugar, for rimming the glass
  • Cherries and lime wedges, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses by running a lime wedge around the rims and dipping them into salt or sugar. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine the cherries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice.
  3. Blend until smooth and slushy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more simple syrup.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared glasses.
