A quick and healthy Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry with tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a savory sauce perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thin
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked white or brown rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, water, and sesame oil to make the sauce. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the pan, then add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender. Add a splash of water if needed to steam.
- Return chicken to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir well to coat.
- Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and everything is heated through.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with beef or tofu.
- For extra spice, add chili flakes or sriracha to the sauce.
- Use fresh or frozen broccoli depending on availability.
