- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
- 1 tbsp butter (for breadcrumb topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
- If using breadcrumbs, mix them with melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
- Substitute brown rice for a whole grain option.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
