Description

Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad is a hearty, refreshing dish that combines tender pasta, juicy chicken, crisp romaine, Parmesan cheese, and creamy Caesar dressing—perfect for potlucks, picnics, or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz rotini or penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (more to taste)
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cherry tomatoes, bacon bits, lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  5. Top with croutons just before serving to maintain crunch. Garnish with optional cherry tomatoes, bacon bits, or a squeeze of lemon if desired.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.
  • Wait to add croutons until just before serving to keep them crispy.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
