Description

Chocolate Lasagna is a decadent, no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreos, sweetened cream cheese, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping. It’s a crowd-pleaser perfect for parties and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (36) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cold milk
  • 12 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), divided
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 1/4 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Place in the refrigerator to set.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add in the granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of cold milk and mix well.
  4. Fold in 1 1/4 cups of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Spread this over the chilled crust.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mixes with 3 1/4 cups of cold milk until thickened. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Top with the remaining whipped topping and smooth the surface with a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top, if using.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute chocolate chips with shaved chocolate for a different texture.
  • Make it a day ahead for better flavor melding.
  • Use reduced-fat cream cheese and whipped topping for a lighter version.
