Description

Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars are a delicious twist on the classic cinnamon roll, featuring a soft, buttery blondie base swirled with cinnamon sugar and topped with a rich cream cheese glaze. These bars deliver all the flavor of cinnamon rolls in an easy-to-make dessert.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for cinnamon swirl)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon swirl sugars and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife or skewer.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. While bars cool, prepare the glaze: beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over cooled bars. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake and let cool fully in the pan.
  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts for a crunchy twist.
  • Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days at room temperature.
  • Warm slightly before serving for that fresh-from-the-oven taste.
