- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 pound ground sausage (mild or spicy), cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine drained whole corn, cream-style corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream, melted butter, cheese, cooked sausage, pepper, and garlic powder if using. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
