Description

Indulgent and luxurious, these Creamy Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are seared to perfection and smothered in a rich, garlicky cream sauce, ideal for a romantic dinner or special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center to the tail, and gently pull the meat out to sit on top of the shell.
  3. Brush lobster meat with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice.
  7. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2–3 minutes.
  8. Remove lobster tails from the oven and spoon the creamy garlic butter sauce over them.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can broil instead of bake for a crispier top.
  • Ensure not to overcook lobster tails to maintain tenderness.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and melting quality.
