Description

Creamy Marry Me Shrimp Pasta is a rich and flavorful dish made with tender shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes, and a creamy garlic parmesan sauce served over pasta. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner or a cozy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the shrimp to the skillet and simmer for another 2 minutes to heat through.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped basil or parsley.

Notes

  • You can substitute the shrimp with chicken or scallops if desired.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies and flavor.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
