Description

Crispy Air Fryer Cod is a light and flaky fish recipe with a perfectly seasoned and crunchy coating, made easily and quickly in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb cod fillets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and cut into desired portion sizes if needed.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Dip each cod fillet into the flour, then the egg, then coat with the seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Spray both sides of the breaded cod with cooking spray or olive oil spray.
  6. Place the cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).
  8. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce or a side of vegetables.
