Bite‑sized salmon pieces air‑fried to crispy perfection and tossed in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze—perfect as an appetizer or main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1‑inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp low‑sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten‑free)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400 °F (200 °C).
- In a bowl, toss salmon cubes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange salmon bites in a single layer in air fryer basket (may need batches).
- Cook 7–9 minutes, shaking basket halfway, until golden and just cooked through.
- Meanwhile, whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan.
- Warm glaze over low heat, stirring until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes; remove from heat.
- Transfer cooked salmon to a bowl, pour glaze over and gently toss to coat.
- Plate bites, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Don’t overcook salmon—it continues to cook slightly after removing from air fryer.
- Use tamari for a gluten‑free version.
- Red pepper flakes add a touch of heat—adjust to taste.
- Serve with steamed rice or veggies to make it a full meal.
