Description

Bite‑sized salmon pieces air‑fried to crispy perfection and tossed in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze—perfect as an appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1‑inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp low‑sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten‑free)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400 °F (200 °C).
  2. In a bowl, toss salmon cubes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange salmon bites in a single layer in air fryer basket (may need batches).
  4. Cook 7–9 minutes, shaking basket halfway, until golden and just cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan.
  6. Warm glaze over low heat, stirring until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes; remove from heat.
  7. Transfer cooked salmon to a bowl, pour glaze over and gently toss to coat.
  8. Plate bites, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook salmon—it continues to cook slightly after removing from air fryer.
  • Use tamari for a gluten‑free version.
  • Red pepper flakes add a touch of heat—adjust to taste.
  • Serve with steamed rice or veggies to make it a full meal.
