Description
A delicious and easy-to-make crock pot pizza that combines all the classic flavors of pizza with the convenience of slow cooking. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can pizza sauce
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 (8 oz) package sliced pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (16 oz) package wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
- Optional toppings: sliced black olives, mushrooms, green peppers
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned and the onion is tender. Drain the fat.
- Stir in pizza sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spray the inside of the crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
- Layer half of the cooked noodles in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Spoon half of the meat sauce over the noodles.
- Layer half of the pepperoni slices and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- You can substitute turkey or veggie sausage for a lighter option.
- Feel free to customize with your favorite pizza toppings.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
