Description

A delicious and easy-to-make crock pot pizza that combines all the classic flavors of pizza with the convenience of slow cooking. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can pizza sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) package sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (16 oz) package wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • Optional toppings: sliced black olives, mushrooms, green peppers


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned and the onion is tender. Drain the fat.
  2. Stir in pizza sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Spray the inside of the crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Layer half of the cooked noodles in the bottom of the crock pot.
  5. Spoon half of the meat sauce over the noodles.
  6. Layer half of the pepperoni slices and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute turkey or veggie sausage for a lighter option.
  • Feel free to customize with your favorite pizza toppings.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
