Crockpot Taco Spaghetti is a flavorful fusion of classic spaghetti and zesty taco ingredients, all slow-cooked to perfection for an easy, comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 8 oz spaghetti noodles, broken in half
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté diced onion and bell pepper until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning, then transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
- Add diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, and beef broth to the crockpot. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- After cooking time, stir in the broken spaghetti noodles. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30-40 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken as a leaner alternative to beef.
- Top with sour cream, chopped cilantro, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
