Description

A creamy, refreshing dill dip perfect for veggies, chips, or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped (or 2 tsp dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Add chopped fresh dill (or dried), lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper; taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Serve chilled with fresh vegetables, chips, crackers, or as a condiment.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream for a tangier, healthier version.
  • Fresh dill delivers better flavor than dried; if using dried, reduce amount to 2 teaspoons.
  • Dip can be made a day ahead—flavors intensify after refrigeration.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
