Description
A creamy, refreshing dill dip perfect for veggies, chips, or crackers.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped (or 2 tsp dried dill)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, stir together sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Add chopped fresh dill (or dried), lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Season with salt and black pepper; taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
- Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Serve chilled with fresh vegetables, chips, crackers, or as a condiment.
Notes
- Use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream for a tangier, healthier version.
- Fresh dill delivers better flavor than dried; if using dried, reduce amount to 2 teaspoons.
- Dip can be made a day ahead—flavors intensify after refrigeration.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
