Description

Dirt Cups are a fun, no-bake dessert made with layers of chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms — perfect for kids’ parties or a playful treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip), thawed
  • 15 chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos), crushed
  • 10 gummy worms
  • 10 small plastic cups (5-6 oz)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of crushed cookies into the bottom of each cup.
  4. Fill each cup about 2/3 full with the pudding mixture.
  5. Top with another layer of crushed cookies to resemble dirt.
  6. Place 1 gummy worm (or more) on top of each cup, pushing slightly into the “dirt.”
  7. Refrigerate the cups for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Make ahead and chill for up to 24 hours before serving.
  • You can use homemade whipped cream instead of whipped topping.
  • Add mini plastic shovels for a fun presentation.
