Description
Dirt Cups are a fun, no-bake dessert made with layers of chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms — perfect for kids’ parties or a playful treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip), thawed
- 15 chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos), crushed
- 10 gummy worms
- 10 small plastic cups (5-6 oz)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of crushed cookies into the bottom of each cup.
- Fill each cup about 2/3 full with the pudding mixture.
- Top with another layer of crushed cookies to resemble dirt.
- Place 1 gummy worm (or more) on top of each cup, pushing slightly into the “dirt.”
- Refrigerate the cups for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Make ahead and chill for up to 24 hours before serving.
- You can use homemade whipped cream instead of whipped topping.
- Add mini plastic shovels for a fun presentation.
