Dirt Pie is a fun, no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreos, creamy pudding, and whipped topping. It’s a playful treat that’s perfect for kids and parties.
Ingredients
- 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip), thawed
- Gummy worms for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- Set aside 1 cup of crushed Oreos for topping and mix the rest with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
- Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread the filling over the Oreo crust evenly.
- Sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos over the top.
- Optional: decorate with gummy worms for a fun touch.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use double-stuffed Oreos for an extra creamy crust.
- Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
- For individual servings, layer in small cups or jars.
