Description

Dirt Pie is a fun, no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreos, creamy pudding, and whipped topping. It’s a playful treat that’s perfect for kids and parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip), thawed
  • Gummy worms for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. Set aside 1 cup of crushed Oreos for topping and mix the rest with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  5. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in the whipped topping.
  6. Spread the filling over the Oreo crust evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos over the top.
  8. Optional: decorate with gummy worms for a fun touch.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use double-stuffed Oreos for an extra creamy crust.
  • Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
  • For individual servings, layer in small cups or jars.
