Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and press it into the bottom and sides.
- Pour the apple mixture into the crust, mounding slightly in the center.
- In a separate bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt with a fork until crumbly to make the streusel topping.
- Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- Let cool for 30 minutes, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
