Description

These adorable Easter Bunny Crescent Bites are a fun and festive treat that’s perfect for celebrating the holiday. Flaky crescent dough is shaped into cute bunny ears and filled with a sweet mixture, making them a delightful snack or dessert for the Easter season.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • Pink or red sugar sprinkles (for nose)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles. Use your hands to gently stretch each triangle into an oval shape.
  3. For each crescent triangle, roll the wider end inward to form the body of the bunny and fold the top corners to create ears.
  4. Place the shaped crescent rolls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake according to the package instructions, typically 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. While the crescents bake, prepare the filling by mixing together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
  7. Once baked, let the bunny bites cool slightly. Then, pipe or spread the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each crescent bite.
  8. For the finishing touch, add mini chocolate chips as eyes and a pink or red sugar sprinkle for the nose.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy your Easter Bunny Crescent Bites!

Notes

  • Make sure to not overfill the dough with cream cheese mixture, or it may leak during baking.
  • If you don’t have mini chocolate chips, you can use regular-sized chocolate chips or even small candy pieces for the eyes.
  • For a fun twist, you can also fill the crescent rolls with Nutella or jam before baking.
