Ingredients

For the Rice Krispies Mixture:

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter

For Decorating:

  • Assorted food coloring
  • Sprinkles
  • Frosting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rice Krispies Mixture: In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
  2. Shape the Eggs: While the mixture is still warm, shape it into egg shapes using your hands. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Decorate: Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add food coloring to each bowl to create different colored eggs. Decorate with sprinkles and frosting as desired.
  4. Let Them Set: Allow the eggs to set at room temperature for about an hour until firm.
  5. Serve: Once set, serve and enjoy these festive Easter treats!
