Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and water, then bring to a boil.
  3. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender.
  4. Stir in the cooked chicken, peas and carrots, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley.
  5. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until heated through and flavors are combined.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
