Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne or fettuccine preferred)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and lightly browned.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and let simmer for 2-3 minutes to deglaze the pan.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
