Description

Garlic Parmesan Baked Shrimp is a quick and delicious seafood dish featuring succulent shrimp baked in a flavorful garlic-butter sauce topped with melted Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place shrimp in a single layer in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve immediately with crusty bread or over pasta or rice, if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh or thawed shrimp for best results.
  • You can substitute Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • Pairs well with a light salad or steamed vegetables.
