Description
Garlic Parmesan Baked Shrimp is a quick and delicious seafood dish featuring succulent shrimp baked in a flavorful garlic-butter sauce topped with melted Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Place shrimp in a single layer in a baking dish.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Remove from oven and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread or over pasta or rice, if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh or thawed shrimp for best results.
- You can substitute Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Pairs well with a light salad or steamed vegetables.
