Description

These Honey Garlic Chicken Skewers are a sweet and savory treat perfect for grilling. The combination of honey, garlic, and a touch of soy sauce creates a flavorful marinade that enhances the tenderness of the chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 5-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to soak the wooden skewers in water before using them to prevent burning during grilling.
  • For added flavor, you can brush the chicken with extra marinade while grilling.
  • Feel free to add vegetables such as bell peppers or onions to the skewers for a complete meal.
