A refreshing and citrusy margarita recipe made in bulk, perfect for parties and gatherings. This classic cocktail combines tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice for a tangy and boozy treat.
Ingredients
- 2 liters (8 cups) tequila
- 1 liter (4 cups) triple sec or orange liqueur
- 1 liter (4 cups) freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 liter (2 cups) simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- Lime wedges and salt for garnish
- Ice for serving
Instructions
- In a large gallon-sized container or pitcher, combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup.
- Stir well to mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours before serving.
- When ready to serve, prepare glasses by rimming with lime juice and dipping in salt (optional).
- Fill glasses with ice and pour in the margarita mixture.
- Garnish with lime wedges and enjoy!
