Description

A refreshing and citrusy margarita recipe made in bulk, perfect for parties and gatherings. This classic cocktail combines tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice for a tangy and boozy treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 liters (8 cups) tequila
  • 1 liter (4 cups) triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 liter (4 cups) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 liter (2 cups) simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Lime wedges and salt for garnish
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large gallon-sized container or pitcher, combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  2. Stir well to mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours before serving.
  4. When ready to serve, prepare glasses by rimming with lime juice and dipping in salt (optional).
  5. Fill glasses with ice and pour in the margarita mixture.
  6. Garnish with lime wedges and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
  • Use high-quality tequila and fresh lime juice for best flavor.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Consider adding a splash of orange juice for a twist.
