- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian style)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness if needed.
- In a shallow dish, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Set up a dredging station with flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and the Parmesan mixture in the third.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip into the eggs, then coat with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
- Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
- You can bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes as a healthier option.
- Great with marinara sauce or over a salad.
