Description

A crispy and flavorful Parmesan Crusted Chicken that’s golden on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or special occasion meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian style)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness if needed.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up a dredging station with flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and the Parmesan mixture in the third.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip into the eggs, then coat with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
  • You can bake the chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes as a healthier option.
