- 1 cup light corn syrup

- 6 cups cornflakes cereal

Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture begins to boil.
- Remove from heat and immediately stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract (if using), and salt until smooth.
- Gently fold in the cornflakes, ensuring they are evenly coated with the peanut butter mixture.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper or a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Let the cookies cool and set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
