- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
- Pour in beef broth and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture, cover, and cook until cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.

- Use lean ground beef to reduce excess grease.
- Provolone or mozzarella cheese works best for melt and flavor.
- Can be served over rice, in a sandwich roll, or with roasted potatoes.
