Description

A warm, cheesy dip inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak, loaded with beef, peppers, onions, and gooey cheese—perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak or roast beef, chopped
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Baguette slices or tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and bell pepper, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add chopped steak or roast beef to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth.
  5. Add cooked beef mixture, provolone, and mozzarella cheese to the bowl. Mix well to combine.
  6. Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  8. Serve warm with baguette slices or tortilla chips.

Notes

  • You can substitute provolone with cheddar or Swiss cheese if preferred.
  • Make it ahead and refrigerate—just bake before serving.
  • Use deli roast beef for a quicker version.
