Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, well-drained
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form a crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely.
- In a bowl, cream together softened butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
- In another bowl, fold the drained crushed pineapple into the whipped topping.
- Spread the pineapple mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top, if using.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
