Description

Pizza Sliders are a fun and easy party appetizer or weeknight dinner, combining all the flavors of pizza in a convenient pull-apart slider form.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
  4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni slices.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns over the filling.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute pepperoni with cooked sausage, mushrooms, or vegetables for variation.
  • Use marinara sauce if pizza sauce is unavailable.
  • These sliders can be prepared ahead and baked when ready to serve.
