Description

A delicious and cheesy pull apart garlic bread perfect for sharing, loaded with butter, garlic, and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf of crusty bread (sourdough or Italian)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the bread into a crosshatch pattern, making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Carefully spoon or brush the garlic butter mixture into the cuts of the bread.
  5. Stuff the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan into the crevices of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread loosely in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, then unwrap and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • Try adding cooked bacon or chopped olives for variation.
