Description

A delicious and addictive no-bake snack mix made with cereal, chocolate, peanut butter, and powdered sugar—perfect for parties or gifting.


Ingredients

  • 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer the coated cereal to a large zip-top bag or sealed container, add the powdered sugar, and shake until all pieces are well coated.
  6. Spread the Puppy Chow out on a baking sheet to cool and set.
  7. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
