Description

Quick Cottage Cheese Buns are soft, protein-packed rolls made without yeast. They come together in minutes, making them perfect for breakfast, snacks, or as a healthy bread alternative.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for brushing)
  • Sesame or poppy seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and cottage cheese until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until a thick batter forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping into round buns.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with seeds if using.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.
