Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are a savory, creamy, and satisfying appetizer or breakfast treat made with spicy sausage, cream cheese, and buttery crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper to the sausage and stir until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use hot sausage for a spicier version.
- These rolls can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or microwave.
- Add chopped green onions or shredded cheese for extra flavor.
