Description

Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are a savory, creamy, and satisfying appetizer or breakfast treat made with spicy sausage, cream cheese, and buttery crescent roll dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper to the sausage and stir until well combined.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
  6. Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

  • You can use hot sausage for a spicier version.
