Description

A hearty and low-carb Sausage & Egg Keto Breakfast Casserole that’s perfect for meal prep or feeding a crowd. Packed with protein and flavor, this dish is a satisfying keto-friendly breakfast option.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 10 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and green onions into the egg mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
