Description

A sweet, tangy, and tender chicken dish made with just a few ingredients, perfect for easy weeknight dinners using a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Coca-Cola (not diet)
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix (1 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Coca-Cola, ketchup, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks if desired, then return to the sauce and stir well to coat.
  6. Serve hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or buns.

  • Use regular Coca-Cola, not diet, for the best flavor and consistency.
