- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder

- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Cut cube steak into finger-sized strips.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs with milk.
- Dip each steak strip into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, pressing to coat well.
- Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry steak fingers in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce or country gravy.
