Description

A no-bake, layered dessert made with graham crackers, creamy vanilla filling, fresh strawberries, and a luscious chocolate topping. Perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box graham crackers (about 18 sheets)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 (3.4 oz) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  3. In a 9×13 inch dish, layer graham crackers to cover the bottom.
  4. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.
  5. Arrange a layer of sliced strawberries on top.
  6. Repeat with another layer of graham crackers, the remaining pudding mixture, and more strawberries.
  7. Top with one final layer of graham crackers.
  8. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, heavy cream, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  9. Pour the chocolate mixture over the top layer of graham crackers and spread evenly.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the graham crackers to soften.
  11. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For added flavor, mix a little strawberry jam into the pudding layer.
  • Use dark chocolate chips for a richer topping.
  • This dessert can be made a day in advance.
