Description

Tex-Mex Hot Dogs are a fun and flavorful twist on the classic American hot dog, topped with zesty ingredients like salsa, jalapeños, and avocado for a southwestern flair.


Ingredients

  • 4 beef hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or stovetop grill pan to medium heat.
  2. Grill the hot dogs for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until heated through and slightly charred.
  3. While the hot dogs are grilling, toast the hot dog buns lightly if desired.
