Description

A decadent, moist banana bread made with three types of chocolate for a rich and indulgent treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the mashed bananas.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet, white, and milk chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Make sure the bananas are ripe for maximum sweetness and flavor.
  • Store leftover banana bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • You can substitute the chocolate chips with your favorite type of chocolate or add nuts for extra texture.
