Description
A decadent, moist banana bread made with three types of chocolate for a rich and indulgent treat.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract into the mashed bananas.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet, white, and milk chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Make sure the bananas are ripe for maximum sweetness and flavor.
- Store leftover banana bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- You can substitute the chocolate chips with your favorite type of chocolate or add nuts for extra texture.
